MAACO Resident Management System

The Resident Management System has been planned according to the following principles:-

1. Report System

MAACO Head Quarter set a report system of daily, weekly and monthly reports, including the technical and management information supported by site pictures and any relevant information about the project life cycle. These reports must be sent to the head office in Baghdad, in order to enable the management to have an accurate view and full knowledge about the site situation from all points of view, accordingly it can control the job day by day and step by step.

2. Project Management Office

The project Management office will be established and located on-site if possible or in a very close place to the site, the project team who will be resides at the office will be as following:

* Project Manager.
* Electrical Project Engineer.
* Mechanical Project Engineer.
* Civil Project Engineer.
* Quality Control Engineers.
* Security Officer.

3. Project Activities Operation Room

The Project Activities Operation Room is responsible about the coordination between different departments/locations of the project and its place where the problems and difficulties to be solved, as well as the work development plans will be negotiated. This room includes the project management, site engineers and different locations’ directors in addition to the subcontractors.

4. Quality Control Team

There will be a resident team of quality control engineers including electrical, mechanical and civil engineers, they will be in progress of follow up and will coordinate their work with the consulting office of the company.

5. Safety Team

This team will work according to approved safety plan; this plan will be subjected to a daily follow up by the project manager office.

6. Security Team

A specialized security officer with a very skilled team of guards will take the responsibility of applying the scheduled security activities and procedures, supported by an efficient communication system as well as a quick response policy.

Proposed Mitigation Action

Our management system has been set to provide a very strong and serious control for the site work and situation of the projects. In general, the management control will cover the technical, staff and all other activities of the project tasks, including the safety, security, labors, and subcontractors’ staff. The follow-up should be according to the project plan schedules of the project tasks, a daily inspection and checking will be done on site based on the project schedules. Any person of our company staff or the subcontractor staff will not be allowed to keep working in the project unless assuring that he is following and applying the project rules.
